The project.

E16 Health, previously known as Pontoon Dock Health Centre, was delivered to provide new health facilities within the Britannia Village in Newham. The surgery has been developed to cater for an expanding population, many who are moving into the new residential scheme being developed close by.

The project included the fit-out of an existing shell and core, developed as part of a residential scheme. The facility provides 14 consulting, treatment and training rooms, a phlebotomy room and a large group therapy space. The scheme has been designed to enable collaboration and offer enhanced health services to the local community. Training for clinicians is also taking place here.

East London NHS Foundation Trust, the London Borough of Newham and Newham Health Collaborative (GP Federation) came together in partnership to facilitate the scheme, which has seen several practice amalgamated into the new space.

A tour of the new space can be seen here, and is courtesy of North East London CCG.
