Our education portfolio continues to grow as we further assist Valley Invicta Academies Trust with their plans for expansion. This week, practical completion was achieved on several projects across two of their schools.
Refurbishment of the existing gym suite and changing facilities were undertaken at Valley Park School and the space now provides newly extended kitchen and dining facilities.
At Invicta Grammar School, existing teaching and changing rooms were refurbished and a new dance hall, changing facilities and classrooms were constructed.
Lastly, the refurbishment and reconfiguration of the Invicta Grammar School reception has also been delivered.
Further projects are in the pipeline at the Trust as planning has been submitted for a new three storey classroom block at Invicta Grammar. 18 classrooms will be provided which will enable expansion of pupil numbers through an extra form entry.
There are also plans to provide further sports facilities through a new 12-court sports hall on their Maidstone campus. The first phase of the project was completed in 2020 and provided 6 courts. However, with three schools now on the site, further space is needed to accommodate the growing number of sports lessons and widening curriculum.
