The project.
Westgate One is located adjacent the Westgate Towers in Canterbury and sees the former Barretts Land Rover showroom on Pound Lane and St Peter’s Street replaced with new studio apartments. The new development will provide more than 150 apartments across 4 blocks once completed. Alongside this, new ancillary space will be created on the ground floor of the existing building facing Pound Lane. We worked closely with the developer and chosen contractor in the early stages to manage the development of the project & budget from RIBA 2 to RIBA 4.
Phase One of the project saw the renovation of the existing building and delivered flats on the first and second floors in June 2021.
The first of the new build blocks were completed in August and September 2022, along with a marketing suite created to enable prospective occupiers to view the high end new build accommodation first hand.
