The project.
We are proud to announce the completion of Giles Court, which is the first of many projects completed for Giles Lane Investments. This is providing high-quality student accommodation as a part of University of Kent’s campus enhancement program, seeking to improve the living facilities for students.
Known as Block E, this three-storey building is providing 91 purpose-built rooms, that are a mix of studios and flats with cluster bedrooms. Each room includes its own ensuite, as well as, shared amenities and communal spaces included.
Our roles within this project have included Project Management, Employers Agent and Quantity Surveyor, helping to deliver this project within budget, on time and helping to limit problems along the way.
The design of this project focuses on sustainability, located opposite to a woodland area, the design team has included Extensive photovoltaic (PV) panels to ensure the building aligns with the Universities sustainability goals and a green roof which further enhances the green environment surrounding the building.
We are excited to see and play a part in the continued development of the Giles Lane Investment program.
