The project.
This special and unique housing project, located on the shoreline in Folkestone, continues the regeneration plans for the area by delivering a new community including 1,000 new homes and new public realm.
This first phase of the scheme, currently on site, will provide 60 apartments and 24 townhouses and duplexes. Located near the Leas Lift and Coastal park, the development will feature sea views, private gardens and a new piazza will connect the development to the base of the Leas Lift. The design has been developed to make the most of the location overlooking the English Channel.
We have been working very closely with the Folkestone Harbour and Seafront Development Company prior to and since planning permission was granted at the end of 2018 to further develop their plans for this phase, including developing cost plans for various iterations of the scheme.
Once all phases are complete, the project will deliver circa 80,000m2 of residential and 11,000m2 of commercial space being across the harbour area.
