Becoming an Assistant Surveyor
Becoming an Assistant Surveyor is a big milestone that represents a step from a supportive role into a role that takes on greater autonomy of project tasks such as measurements, cost checks, valuations and reporting and under less direct supervision. It also means a growing role in client-facing work, representing b&m directly on-site and in project meetings, reaching the point where a surveyor starts shaping outcomes for clients, not just supporting the people who do.
