We’re delighted to share that b&m has been recognised in the Building Magazine Good Employer Guide 2026, a reflection of the culture we’ve built and the people who shape it every day.
The Guide shines a light on organisations across the industry that are investing in their teams, strengthening wellbeing, and creating environments where people can develop and thrive. For us, that’s not an initiative; it’s how we run our business.
And it comes at a meaningful time.

B Corp Month 2026: A Simple Symbol. A Powerful Signal.
This year’s B Corp Month theme “A Simple Symbol. A Powerful Signal.” puts the spotlight on the B Corp logo as more than a mark on a website. It signals a commitment to people, the planet and continuous improvement.
Every B Corp is different. Every business takes its own path.
But that symbol represents a shared intention: to use business as a force for good.
For b&m, becoming a B Corp wasn’t about a badge. It was about accountability.
It required us to examine how we:
-
Support and develop our people
-
Engage and collaborate with clients and communities
-
Reduce environmental impact across projects and operations
-
Strengthen governance and transparency
-
Build long-term, sustainable value
The process challenged us; and made us better.
Good Employer Guide: Proof in Practice
Being recognised in the Good Employer Guide reinforces something that sits at the heart of our business. As a certified B Corp, we are already held to high standards when it comes to how we treat our people, and this recognition reflects the importance we place on creating a positive, supportive working environment.
It aligns closely with the values that guide everything we do. Our People First approach means investing in training, mentoring and wellbeing so that our team can develop and thrive. Collaboration underpins how we work together, fostering open and supportive relationships both within our team and with the wider project community. Through Growth, we create clear pathways for development at every stage of a career, encouraging curiosity, learning and progression. At the same time, our focus on Expertise and Partnership ensures that our people are empowered with the knowledge and confidence to deliver thoughtful, future-focused advice to our clients.
This recognition also reflects our wider &More approach. For us, &More is about going beyond expectations: providing more value in how we advise, bringing greater care and attention to how we lead projects, creating more opportunities for our people to grow, and taking greater responsibility for the impact we have on our industry and the communities we serve.

What Comes Next
B Corp Month is a moment of pride for us, but it is also a moment to pause and reflect on what the certification represents and what it asks of us going forward.
Over the coming months, we’ll be celebrating our 40 Years in practice, and sharing more about the journey behind our B Corp certification: the practical actions that helped us achieve it, the people across the business who championed and delivered that change, and the ways we are embedding impact-led thinking into the way we deliver projects every day. We will also be talking openly about the commitments we are making as we continue to learn, improve and raise our standards.
The B Corp symbol itself is simple. What sits behind it is not. It represents a commitment to balancing commercial success with positive social and environmental impact, and to continually questioning how we operate as a business.
Our recognition in the Good Employer Guide 2026, alongside our place within the B Corp community, reflects a shared ambition: to build a business, and to help shape a built environment. That is commercially strong, socially responsible and genuinely people-focused.
That’s b&m.
That’s &More.
