Planning has recently been submitted for the restoration of Folkestone’s impressionable Leas Lift!
Leas Lift is one of Folkestone’s treasured heritage sites. Having been constructed in 1885, the water balanced funicular lift has been out of use for many years.
ACME London plans to bring it back to life and reconnect Folkestone’s promenade to the vibrant seafront using the lift as an easy- access commute. The planned works include a new café, retail and exhibition space located at the lifts lower station
