Folkestone’s regeneration takes a step further forward as the Folkestone Harbour and Seafront Development Company have announced the appointment of a contractor to begin construction of the first phase of the Folkestone Seafront scheme.
This first phase will provide 60 apartments and 24 townhouses and duplexes. Located near the Leas Lift and Coastal park, the development will feature sea views, private gardens and a new piazza will connect the development to the base of the Leas Lift. The design has been developed to make the most of the location overlooking the English Channel.
We have been working very closely with the Folkestone Harbour and Seafront Development Company prior to and since detailed planning permission was granted at the end of 2018 to further develop their plans for this phase, including developing cost plans for various iterations of the scheme.
Jenner Contractors Ltd have been appointed to the scheme and we will be working with them through the construction phase as QS.

Once all phases are complete, the project will deliver circa 80,000m2 of residential and 11,000m2 of commercial space across the harbour area.
