The project.
Broadstairs Library benefited from a refurbishment that has now provided the local community with better facilities. The library offers a wide range of services and by refreshing the appearance and atmosphere, the centre is now regarded as a great success.
We were commissioned as Employer’s Agent on Broadstairs Library, which included the removal of the rear staircase, construction of a lift, new entrance doors and replacement windows. In addition, new internal finishes were replaced throughout. External works included new signage provision and the construction of DDA compliant ramps for access to the library building.
The challenge of working within this live environment was overcome through thoughtful logistic planning and great communication with our client and their stakeholders.
