It’s with great honour that we announce that b&m is now B Corp Certified.
This is an incredible achievement for us as we become a part of a forward-thinking network aiming towards transforming our global economy. We join a group of leading businesses around the world that meet a high standard of social and environmental impact.
B Corp is a non-profit network with a collective vision of an inclusive, equitable and regenerative economy. Their aims are to regulate certified businesses in upholding multiple ethical boundaries that set us apart from the rest by meeting high standards of verified performance, accountability, and transparency.
We now work in unity to uphold the B Corp Movement Manifesto:
Our B Corp certification is something we’ve been extensively working on behind the scenes. b&m underwent a series of verifications to ensure that we demonstrate high social and environmental performance by passing a risk review. We have made a legal commitment to ensure our governance structure is accountable for our standards. We have pledged to exhibit transparency about our standards and performances.
Since our certification, we’re required to uphold these standards as an ongoing commitment. We will regularly be submitting impact reports to ensure that we are still incompliance with exceptional standards and will undergo a recertification in three year’s time.
We’re excited to be a part of the B Corp network. It is always a privilege to actively work towards bettering our world.
