The transformation of the former Barretts Jaguar Land Rover showroom, now known as Westgate One, continues at speed as contractor Abbott Construction develop the new build portion of the site. Once complete, the scheme will provide more than 150 apartments across four blocks.

As illustrated in these fantastic drone shots, the first two of four new build blocks are currently under construction, with brick and block work for both in progress. A marketing suite will be created in due course to enable prospective occupiers to view the new build accommodation first hand.

 

The first phase of the project was completed in June 2021. This included creating flats located on the first and second floor of the existing building, fronting onto and offering views of the bustling high street. The sleek and modern units come partially furnished, offering white goods and wifi as part of the package to renters.
