We’ve recently handed over two projects for long term client English Rural Housing Association.
English Rural HA specialise in delivering affordable rural homes and have been doing so for thirty years. They currently manage approximately 1,250 properties across 130 villages in the South of England. We have been worked with them for nearly half that time and have collaborated with them on over 70 projects.
These latest projects see the continuation of their work in providing community housing and offers homes in both Essex and Sussex.
The first scheme handed over is in Mistley, Essex and offers 8 units to the local community. These units form the second phase of this lovely community development, with the first phase completing back in 2014.
7 of the units are for affordable rent and feature either two or three bedrooms. The final unit is a chalet style home that has been offered on the open market. The homes have been constructed using timber frame and are brick clad.
The chalet style home has been designed to stand out against the rest of the development and offers spacious living, including a bedroom and ensuite on the ground floor.
The second development in Ansty, Sussex, sees six units completed for ERHA and these form the Section 106 portion of a larger 20 unit scheme being constructed by developer Sigma Homes.
The new homes are for shared ownership and affordable rent and includes flats and as well as houses. The homes have also been constructed using timber frame and are brick clad.
We currently have several other projects in the pipeline with ERHA and we look forward to carrying on our work with them to deliver affordable housing to rural areas that sorely need it.
