B&M have handed over a new state-of-the-art care home for Royal British Legion Industries, in Aylesford, Kent. This new care home provides 15 exceptionally spacious rooms, with flexible living spaces, light and airy rooms and with modern en-suite facilities.

So many people want to retain a form of independence in older age and to feel at home, yet to feel that they are cared for when required. RBLI’s new care home provides spaces that do not have the feeling of a clinical environment, but that can augment the offer that they provide to deliver the right level of care needed.

Everything about these new spaces is warm and welcoming, just like being at home, with the knowledge of a safe environment. The communal dining room and lounge open out onto a landscaped garden and a woodland walk and to continue the homely feel, there are private terraces for all ground floor bedrooms.

The building is situated in a landscaped garden setting.

The scheme has been fitted out to provide a homely atmosphere, with soft furnishings and fabrics, which compliment the decor.

The scheme was built by BEC Construction on a design & build procurement basis, with B&M providing full Employer’s Agent, Quantity Surveying and Clerk of Works services.
